Oltrepò Pavese DOC Sangue Di Giuda Giorgi 2023 75cl

Croatina, Barbera, Uva Rara, Vespolina and Pinot Noir for this pleasantly sweet and sparkling red by Giorgi, among the historic cellars of the Oltrepò Pavese. Once harvested, the grapes are immediately transported to the cellar, where they are subjected to careful manual sorting; the chosen bunches are pressed and the resulting must is fermented, in contact with the skins. This is followed by second fermentation in stainless steel, during which the desired sugar dosage is decided, after which the Sangue Di Giuda is matured for a few months in steel and at controlled pressure. Here is an excellent accompaniment for an after dinner in excellent company.
