Amara is a Sicilian bitter, born from the idea of two friends from Catania, one a management engineer and the other an agricultural entrepreneur, who have always wanted to produce a liqueur that could enhance the soul of the Sicilian fruit par excellence. The essences used for Amara are those obtained from two varieties of blood oranges: the Tarocco Gallo and the Tarocco Nocellara which contribute to the creation of a pleasant, modern bitter, in line with current trends but easily recognisable, strongly linked to the territory that produces the raw material from which it is born.

 

Amaro "Amara" Red

Amaro "Amara" Rossa, when tasted, has a clear amber color with coppery reflections, the nose contains intense sensations of candied orange peel, spicy notes of cinnamon, star anise and cloves and darker hints of cinchona. Unmistakable, characteristic taste, rich in bitterness, decisive, soft and rounded, with numerous citrus and spicy references consistent with the nose. Orange blossom persists for a long time.
