Terre Siciliane IGT Cataratto Branciforti dei Bordonaro Firriato 2023 75 cl

The Catarratto "Branciforti dei Bordonaro" comes from the lush hills of Tenuta di Gelso Grande, 300 meters above the sea, on medium-textured soils tending towards clayey. The grapes are harvested in the third ten days of September, the Catarratto is vinified in steel vats with temperature control (the temperature control serves to ensure that the fermentation develops slowly and constantly and that there are no fermentation blocks, with the death of wine yeasts and the possible triggering of fermentations by other unsuitable fungi or bacteria; in the case of whites and rosés, it is also particularly important to preserve the aromas). The wine ages for a first month on the lees, in steel and another month in the bottle.
