Laphroaig 25 Years Cask Strength, when tasted, presents an ancient golden yellow color with coppery reflections, on the nose it presents sweet spicy aromas of vanilla, peanut butter and barley candy, and then turns towards tones of medicinal herbs, peat and algae. The marine grain is always present in the background, typical and characteristic. Powerful tasting, very structured and full-bodied, well balanced between spices and smoking, it is very delicious in its hints of candied citrus peel and very persistent in its woody notes.
