Jack Daniel's N°27 Gold is made following the same standards as Jack Daniel's N°7 but with a different refinement; in fact it undergoes a double maturation, first in the classic charred white oak barrels and, subsequently, in maple wood barrels, called 'golden maple wood' (hence probably the name 'gold' to identify it). Finally, filtered with maple charcoal twice, this Jack Daniel's is a limited edition.
Jack Daniel's N°27 Gold, when tasted, has a very bright golden yellow color with amber reflections, it envelops the nose with elegant notes of toasted oak, vanilla and honey, together with sweet fruity hints of dried apricot and some light hints of almond toasted. Soft, sweet and round tasting, reminiscent of vanilla and sweet spices and it proceeds, smooth and clean, accompanying a long smoky finish of toasted oak.
