Lore, from Gaelic, means "passage" and wants to pay homage to this passing down of knowledge and techniques for the distillation of this single malt. Its maturation takes place through the use of a combination of small, barrique-style casks, ex Sherry, second passage casks and, finally, ex Bourbon casks. The result is all about the uniqueness of its aroma and the fullness of taste, capable of exalting the most refined palates.

 

Laphroaig Lore Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Laphroaig Lore Single Malt Scotch Whisky has an intense gold color when tasted. On the nose it begins with its typical peat note, which leaves room for delicious notes of honey, orange blossom, caramel, together with pleasant vanilla and chocolate nuances. Sensations that are reconfirmed on the palate, in an almost creamy sip, wrapped in a warm alcoholic embrace. The finish is persistent and dry, slowly fading into a long peated trail.

How to taste it

Ideal to be enjoyed neat, or diluted with a few drops of water to better appreciate its aroma.
