Red AD 1212 Decugnano dei Barbi 2018 75 l
Rosso di Decugnano dei Barbi is a red wine that comes from the skilful blending of Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Montepulciano. The long aging in steel vats and partly in oak barriques, added to the selection of the best vineyards on the estate, combine to create an austere, intense and complex red. Tertiary hints of spices and fruit in alcohol lead to an enveloping, balanced and vertical sip.
"Il Rosso AD 1212" Decugnano dei Barbi Fattoria dei Barbi
"Il Rosso AD 1212" Decugnano dei Barbi Fattoria dei Barbi, at the tasting shows a ruby red color with purple contours. On the nose it expresses a bouquet characterized by aromas of red currant, blueberry, ripe cherry, hints of undergrowth and humus, aromas of soft oriental spices and freshly ground black peppercorns. With a good structure, it has a dense and evolved tannic texture, rich aromas, with a ripe fruit and elegant tertiary notes. The finish is harmonious and balanced, persistent and complex, with a finish that returns to spicy sensations.
