Grand Vin Saint Estephe Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel Chateau De Pez 2020 75 cl

Chateau De Pez is located in Saint-Estèphe, in the Bordeaux area called Medoc, and is one of the oldest estates in the entire AOC, dating back to 1452! The estate, with its 26 hectares planted with vineyards, was purchased by the Maison Louis Roederer Champagne in 1995 and since then the maximum splendor has begun for this company with a classic profile of a land rich in wine history. Cabernet sauvignon and merlot in equal parts (47%), with a 6% of petit verdot: this is the blend of the “Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel”. The grapes ripen according to a specific program: 40% in new barriques, 40% in first passage barriques and 20% in second passage barriques.

The Grand Vin Chateau De Pez when tasted shows an intense and lively ruby red color, the nose immediately perceives black currants, blackberries and raspberries, assisted by hints of cigar, leather and Arabica coffee. The sip is long, pleasant, full-bodied, with an impeccable taste finesse.

Excellent with game and red meat main courses, to try with jugged duck.
