For millennia, in Mexico, rural populations have drunk a slightly alcoholic fermented agave, known as 'Pulque', only with the arrival of the Spaniards and the introduction of distillation techniques, Pulque became Mezcal.

 

Mezcal Artesanal Encantado Los Danzantes

National drink par excellence, obtained from the heart of the agave (of which Mexico is the absolute reference with 160 different existing species), Mezcal continues to be the fulcrum for many enthusiasts and, precisely for this reason, constantly improved as demonstrated by the 'Encantado, the result of a careful study by Los Danzantes: cooking of the pine cones in earthen ovens, manual stone milling, completely spontaneous fermentation and double distillation in copper stills, for a taste that will enchant you!

TASTING NOTES

Mezcal Artesanal Encantado, when tasted is totally clear, has a very marked nose of earthy notes, mushrooms and bark, rather light and exotic hints of papaya and a fairly marked smoked tuna in the background. Definitely dry, rough and rustic sip, it confirms the wild soul of the nose and accompanies a long persistence reminiscent of dried fruit.
