Collio DOC Ribolla Gialla Riserva Primosic 2018 75cl
The area is that of Oslavia, characterized by a sandstone marl substrate rich in minerals, the grape is Ribolla Gialla, typical of this area and the hand is that of Primosic, inextricably linked to the Collio area since 1959. The grapes are harvested overripe, strictly by hand and the fermentation, in contact with the skins, lasts 24 days, in open wooden vats; This will be followed by refinement for another 24 months in oak barrels, on the fine lees, then bottling, without any filtration. What follows is an important, powerful wine, with strong oxidation, for many but not for all.
Collio DOC Ribolla Gialla Riserva Primosic
Collio DOC Ribolla Gialla Riserva Primosic, when tasted, has a shiny and brilliant golden yellow colour, the nose offers important notes of broom, orange blossom, peaches in syrup, then dried apricots and dates, pungent notes of nail polish and a pinch of white pepper. Responsive tasting, it shows a bright freshness and an almost chalky minerality which translates into body, softness and a very long flavor that strongly recalls the iodine hint felt on the nose.

Delicious with grilled salmon, stewed cod but also with mussel and pecorino gnocchi.
