Bolgheri DOC "Ca 'Marcanda" Gaja

The red wine " Ca 'Marcanda " of Gaja at the tasting shows a deep ruby red color to the eye and introduces to the nose important hints of small wild fruits, and Mediterranean scrub supported by a delicious spiciness and final balsamicity. In the mouth it is full and round, of great elegance, with evident but very fine tannins, great freshness and a return of spicy aromas. The finish is very persistent.

PAIRINGS

An important wine for special occasions, it goes well with savory dishes, especially meat, as well as long-aged cheeses but it does its best with game. Try it with pici with wild boar sauce.
