Umbria IGT "Marciliano" Cotarella family

The Umbrian wine "Marciliano" of the Cotarella family is a blend that comes from a targeted production, which aims to select only the best bunches of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Soil, climate and know-how of the Cotarella brothers, world-renowned oenologists, contribute to enhancing these varietals, which are clearly expressed both on the nose and on the palate. The tannins are firm but graceful at the same time, and the sip is always smooth and balanced. A wine for special occasions, also perfect as a gift for red wine lovers.
TASTING NOTES
The red wine "Marciliano" when tasted shows an impenetrable ruby red color , has a rich and complex nose that opens gradually, starting with floral notes of peony and fruity sour cherry, to continue with sweet spices, balsamic and mineral hints . In the mouth it is exceptional, ample and perfectly balanced, with evolved tannins and long persistence with fruity references.
PAIRINGS
Perfect now but certainly promises a long aging. Excellent companion for game dishes, both feathered and sleeping, with first courses with black truffles and aged cheeses.
