Dolcetto D'Alba DOC "Rutuin" Ciabot Berton

Harvesting of Dolcetto grapes in the locality of La Morra in the Rocchettevino sub-area, in Piedmontese dialect Rutuin . The vineyards are located in a hilly area, with exposure to the east, 300 meters above sea level and clayey-calcareous soil. The yield per hectare is 56 hl and the average age of the vineyards is 45 years. The density / ha is 6000 plants and the annual production of 5.000 bottles. The vinification process takes place with maceration at a controlled temperature of 28 ° C, with the must remaining on the skins for 6-8 days. 

TASTING NOTES

Dolcetto D'Alba Rutuin Ciabot Berton is a deep ruby red wine, the nose offers an intense aroma of cherries and red fruits. The taste is full-bodied and fruity and the typical tannic vein is perceived, well integrated. Broad and persistent aftertaste.
