It is a superb vineyard located above Clos Vougeot, between Vosne-Romanée and Vougeot, in the Côte de Nuits. It belongs to the time of the abbey of Cîteaux. Echézeaux is an exquisite, robust, solid and completely harmonious red wine, with great aging potential, but also usable when young. Louis Latour's Echézeaux Grand Cru is a fantastic expression of Pinot Noir, the undisputed prince of Burgundy red wines, produced from grapes harvested strictly by hand and aged for 10/12 months in new French oak barrels.

 

Echezeaux Grand Cru Louis Latour

Echezeaux Grand Cru Louis Latour, when tasted it shows a bright and consistent garnet red color. The nose is complex, combining aromas of cherry, cassis and coffee, the notes of licorice appear in the background, timid and delicate. In the mouth it is of great elegance, soft and savory, fresh and tannic, perfectly balanced.
