With 12 months of aging in barrique, a further 21 months in steel and 6 months in the bottle to refine everything, this red offers an excellent performance, confirming the uniqueness of this denomination and the very high aging potential.

Sagrantino Di Montefalco DOCG Cantine Briziarelli, when tasted, presents itself with an intense ruby red color with faint garnet nuances on the edge, on the nose it demonstrates all the great aromatic complexity it has at its disposal with notes of wild blackberry and black cherries which then give way to leather and brown tobacco, ending in the world of spices. Warm, powerful, rich tasting, it shows off a present tannin, rough but well balanced by notable softness. Its complexity is confirmed by the length of the aromatic persistence which suggests its important evolutionary capabilities.

COMBINATIONS

The wine for great roasts and mature cheeses will be a pleasant discovery with 90% dark chocolate.
