Chianti DOCG Castello Banfi
Banfi's Chianti Classico DOCG is a wine renowned throughout Italy and the world. It represents a benchmark for Italian food and wine tradition and its promotion abroad. The Banfi winery in Tuscany produces this sensational Italian wine from traditional Chianti grape varieties, predominantly Sangiovese. The production technique begins with fermentation with traditional maceration of the skins on the must for a relatively short period, never exceeding seven days. Once alcoholic and malolactic fermentation are complete, the wine is aged in stainless steel for five to six months.
