Michele Chiarlo's Barolo Cannubi comes from the renowned Cannubi vineyard, the historic cru of Barolo DOCG recognized since 1752. The winery cultivates a plot in the heart of the hill, taking on the challenge of terracing the steep slopes. The wine ages in large barrels for two years, followed by a further period in the bottle.

Michele Chiarlo's Barolo Cannubi presents an intense garnet red color. The nose is complex, with notes of dried rose, brandied cherry, and licorice. On the palate, it is powerful and incredibly elegant, with silky, well-integrated tannins.

With roasted red meats, game, or braised dishes, it pairs perfectly with white or black truffles. Try it also with aged cheeses.
