Chambolle-Musigny AOC Village Domaine François Bertheau 2017 75cl
Chambolle-Musigny, known for producing wines with extraordinarily elegant and graceful characteristics, among the most feminine in all of Burgundy. These wines are less rich in anthocyanins, and therefore lighter in color and have a broad, varied, more ethereal and spicy aromatic bouquet. These characteristics are due to the incredible structure of the soil, rich in limestone, marl, and marine fossils. Winemakers say that in Burgundy, even the stones smell wonderful, and given the results, they probably deserve to be believed.
Chambolle-Musigny AOC Village Domaine François Bertheau
Chambolle-Musigny AOC Village Domaine François Bertheau presents a clear, transparent ruby red color with purple highlights. On the nose, it offers a captivating aromatic bouquet of violets, morello cherries, and wild strawberries, along with graphite, a hint of spice, and black pepper. With a good structure on the palate, it is fresh and savory, with crisp tannins, well-balanced, and with a long, elegant mineral finish.
