Gewürtztraminer, also known as Termeno Aromatico, or Traminer Aromatico, is a warm and smooth white wine, expressing great freshness combined with a pleasant savory and structured character. This grape variety thrives in the cool climates and limestone-rich, gravel-rich, and clay-rich soils typical of these mountains. From these minerals, it draws all the aromatic richness that characterizes its flavors and aromas. Franz Haas's version ages in stainless steel, in contact with the lees, for six months, resulting in a stimulating and profound wine.
