"Grappoli del Grillo" was the first wine produced by Marco De Bartoli. It was immediately recognized as a pioneer in the redevelopment of the native Grillo grape, which had always been considered a staple in the production of Marsala and, until then, had never been considered for a single-varietal wine. Austere and mineral, this grape can produce a structured, warm, and smooth wine with a surprising capacity for aging: this wine is certainly true! Grappoli del Grillo is a powerful and powerful white wine, just like its maker, capable of delivering intense emotions even over time, even for up to 10 years!

Terre Siciliane IGT "Grappoli Del Grillo" Marco De Bartoli presents a luminous golden yellow color. The nose exudes pineapple, citron, and apricot, along with spicy notes of ginger and wild fennel, against a background of sea salt. The palate is energetic, well-balanced between freshness and savory flavors, warm and enveloping, culminating in a long, slightly bitter citrus zest finish that extends its refined persistence.

COMBINATIONS

Pair with characterful dishes, such as seafood or mushroom risotto, grilled fish, but also fresh and blue cheeses.
