Made from botrytized Grechetto grapes, this Lazio Grechetto Passito IGT "Muffo" from the Sergio Mottura winery has been aged in French oak barrels for 12 months. It is full-bodied, intense, and persistent, yet at the same time refined and pleasantly ethereal.

The Lazio Grechetto Passito IGT "Muffo" Sergio Mottura presents itself with a luminous golden yellow color with amber highlights. Notes of candied orange peel and dried flowers, musky and apricot nuances, walnuts and acacia blossoms, and a finish of flint and cinnamon: the nose offers a myriad of aromas that blend seamlessly together. The palate, sweet and structured, remains lively, fresh, and savory. Citrusy finishes.

COMBINATIONS

It pairs perfectly with foie gras and cheeses with honey, but it remains a wonderful meditation wine.
