Michele Satta's Bolgheri Superiore "Piastraia" originates from the renowned Tuscan hills. It is produced from Cabernet, Merlot, Syrah, and Sangiovese grapes, all hand-picked and selected. Vinification and maceration take place in small oak vats, with the cap submerged by hand for approximately 20 days. It is then transferred to new French oak barrels, where, after blending, it ages for 18 to 24 months. It is a harmonious, refined, and pleasantly profound red wine.

The nose opens with an elegant bouquet of ripe red and black fruits, such as blackberry and blueberry, enriched with pleasant summery notes of green grass and hay. Ideal to pair with first courses with elaborate meat sauces, it goes perfectly with mature cheeses and game.
