Produced in Catalonia from 85% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Tempranillo grapes, the must ages in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks and then spends 12 months in Eastern European French oak barrels, 30% new and 70% used, to intelligently smooth out the Tempranillo's rough edges. This aging process is tailor-made for a great wine that, if properly stored, will continue to improve for the next 10 years.

"Sangre De Toro" Cabernet Sauvignon Riserva Torres displays an intense ruby color with purple highlights. The nose reveals sensual and profound aromas of jammy and spirit-preserved berries, notes of mushrooms and moss, followed by toasted bread, charcoal, and licorice. The palate displays excellent tannic structure, complex and rich in flavor and alcohol content, revealing a very interesting and typically gamey finish of leather, truffle, and hide.

COMBINATIONS

With the best game dishes, it does not pair well with mature cheeses.
