Côte De Beaune AOC Rouge Joseph Drouhin 75 cl
With its 73 hectares of property, Joseph Drouhin is the most important Domaine in Burgundy, a crucial reference for Premier and Grands Cru wines, which allow the wines to touch some of the most important appellations (or appellations) in France, allowing the taster to experience a true journey of discovery of the various terroirs. With this Pinot Noir, Drouhin takes us to the Côte de Beaune, a region known for its white wines but which, thanks to its chalky soils, also produces authentic expressions of red wines. Aged between 12 and 15 months in oak barrels, this Rouge is a wine ready to drink but capable of providing emotions for up to 10 years after the harvest.
Côte De Beaune AOC Rouge Joseph Drouhin
Côte De Beaune AOC Rouge Joseph Drouhin displays a ruby red color with a purple rim, good clarity, and hints at lightness and delicacy. The nose envelops us with notes of peony and violet, followed by undergrowth, damp earth, and moss, hints of bark, and light, darker hints of black pepper. The palate is very fresh and youthful, with excellent balance of flavor and interesting floral notes. The strong acidity is refreshing and clean, promising a bright future!
COMBINATIONS
With a platter of cured meats and cheeses but also with first courses with tasty sauces, it doesn't disdain meat skewers.
