"San Leonardo" is the most celebrated and representative wine of the prestigious Tenuta San Leonardo. It is a Bordeaux blend: the result of a blend of wines from different grape varieties, vinified and aged separately, like the finest Bordeaux wines. The blend is composed of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot, with the addition of Carmenère. It expresses its authority with a complex and balsamic nose, a floral and musky undercurrent, and a perfect combination of power and finesse on the palate.

Vineyards of the Dolomites Rosso IGT "San Leonardo" San Leonardo

Intense ruby red in color with garnet highlights. The aromas range from balsamic notes of berries, chocolate, tobacco, and pepper, to elegant nuances of bell pepper. The flavor is full, warm, and very rounded, with an intense, extremely long aromatic finish.

COMBINATIONS

Game, roast duck, aged cow's milk cheeses, lamb, snails, vanilla or cheese soufflé, truffle, dark chocolate.
