La Tunella's "Biancosesto" is a white wine with a strong personality, revealing a full, rich, and elegant palate. Biancosesto is a blend of two quintessential native Friulian white grape varieties: Friulano and Ribolla Gialla. The grapes are harvested together and subjected to cold maceration, which preserves their distinctive aromas, before being gently pressed. The resulting must is then added to a fermentation base prepared 3-4 days earlier with the finest grapes selected from the same vineyard.

The "Biancosesto" La Tunella, upon tasting, presents a bright straw yellow color with elegant green hues. It displays great substance from the first nose, revealing notes of vanilla, acacia blossoms, honey, and vanilla, followed by fresh fruity notes of apricot and yellow peach, all enhanced by melted butter and dry pastries. It displays great personality on the palate, revealing a full, rich, and elegant wine, simultaneously savory and agile, confirming its character, especially in its long, almondy finish.

COMBINATIONS

A perfect wine for any meal, it pairs well with a sophisticated aperitif, as well as seafood first courses and mushroom-based dishes. Perfect with shellfish, molluscs, and baked fish.
