Corton-Charlemagne AOC Grand Cru Joseph Drouhin 75 cl
Located behind the village of Aloxe-Corton, Corton-Charlemagne is a strategic Grand Cru for the production of exceptionally high-quality white wines. This terroir, as its name suggests, is a crucial terroir, the fusion of two historic French emperors, Charlemagne and Curtis d'Othon. Made from 100% Chardonnay grapes, using organic and biodynamic methods, Drouhin's Corton-Charlemagne ages in oak barrels for 12 to 15 months, creating a unique wine capable of aging for up to 10 years!
Corton-Charlemagne AOC Grand Cru Joseph Drouhin
Corton-Charlemagne AOC Grand Cru Joseph Drouhin presents a pale and luminous golden yellow color upon tasting. It has a complex nose of yellow rose and broom, honey and candied citrus peel, spicy notes of vanilla, nutmeg, and anise with underlying notes of enamel. On the palate, it's rich, rich, and consistent, with freshness and savory notes that reinforce the smoothness and leave the sip clean and the palate satisfied. The finish is very long, almost smoky, and entirely based on the spices.
