Wild Turkey's flagship bourbon, 101 is bottled, as its name suggests, at 101 proof, or 50.5% ABV, and is a highly accomplished blend of bourbons aged between 6, 7, and 8 years. Winner of numerous awards, its defining characteristic is its ability to marry the high ABV with the gentleness of its aromas, which are rich and very sweet, quite unusual for this type of bourbon.

Wild Turkey 101 Proof Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey displays a bright amber yellow color. It has a sweet nose of vanilla and chocolate, with hints of candied citrus peel, white pepper, and honey, against an oaky background. The palate is rich, juicy, and full, with notes of caramel and pepper, finishing with a very long toasted bread.
