Ciabatta has remarkable aromatic intensity with a high alcohol content and a high concentration of polyphenols. Ciabatta Morellino di Scansano – Erik Banti was aged in Slavonian oak barrels holding 225 to 1,000 liters for 14 months.

Erik Banti's Morellino di Scansano "Ciabatta" displays a very clear ruby red color. On the nose, it is consistent, ethereal, intense, slightly vinous, refined, and elegant, a complete boutique wine with notes of morello cherry, currant, and a pleasant undertone of young oak. On the palate, it is dry, savory, and soft, with appropriately tannic and harmonious notes, with excellent persistence.
COMBINATIONS
It pairs best with white meats (especially rabbit) and red meats, truffle dishes (the black truffle from Norcia is excellent) and semi-mature cheeses.
