Toscana rosso IGT Tignanello magnum 2022 1.5 lt
Tignanello is a Tuscan wine (Supertuscan), prized, refined, and truly luxurious. This Supertuscan tells the story of the terroir and the innovative spirit of the cellar masters at the Tignanello estate of Marchesi Antinori. It was the first Sangiovese to be aged in barrique, the first modern red wine blended with non-traditional varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, and among the first red wines in Chianti not to use white grapes. Tignanello dei Marchesi Antinori is a milestone. It is produced with a selection of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc. After aging in barrique for approximately 12-14 months, the wine rests in bottle for a further year of aging.
Tuscany Red IGT “Tignanello” Marchesi Antinori
Antino's "Tignanello" is an intense ruby red with purple highlights. The nose is ripe, with notes of dark fruit and a fresh finish; plum pulp dominates, along with hints of cherry, gradually and balancedly developing into notes of licorice and mint. The palate is prompt and accessible, rich, and harmonious. Excellent on the palate, thanks to its acidity and the structured softness of the tannins. The aftertaste is rich, savory, and characterized by a sweet persistence. Tignanello best vintages
Antinori's Tignanello is a wine for all meals, best paired with rich meat dishes. Roasts and braised meats, including game, are also excellent. Tignanello: Best Vintages
