The Mesa winery, built according to the most innovative production methods, uses the natural gravity method, which eliminates pumps and harnesses the force of gravity to guide the wine through its various stages of production, from destemming to must fermentation. Only local grape varieties are used for the wines produced by Sanna, and Buio, made from 100% Carignano grapes, is a beautiful interpretation, revisited with a modern twist, of this great native Sardinian grape.

Carignano del Sulcis "Dark" Mesa

Carignano del Sulcis "Buio" Mesa presents a ruby red color and a tantalizing aroma of red currant, chili pepper, lavender flowers, Mediterranean scrub, and cardamom. Satisfying on the palate, it reveals a perfect balance of flavor thanks to the combination of sapidity and tannins.

COMBINATIONS

A perfect companion for first courses with meat sauce, medium-aged cheeses and grilled meats, but it will also go very well with tasty and complex fish dishes such as soup or stewed eel.
