Talisker The Wild Explorador Special Release 2023 is an unaged Single Malt, finished in a combination of casks previously containing Ruby, White, and Tawny Port. Just as the crash of sea spray against a ship rekindled the fire of exploration in the most determined sailors, so Talisker The Wild Explorador reignites the passion for exploration, thanks to an unusual combination of casks that leads to a drink as tumultuous as it is extraordinary.

 

Talisker The Wild Explorador Special

Talisker The Wild Explorador Special, upon tasting, presents a brilliant golden color that ignites the fires of desire. The nose reveals clear notes of sea air, saltiness, and oyster shell, over a spicy, peaty base that gives way to sweeter notes of white grape and dried dark fruit. On the palate, these characteristics blend into a single, creamy, and richly fruity flavor, with waves of saltiness, smoke, and spice that crash into the long, intense finish.
