A single malt aged for at least 25 years in a mix of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks, this Laphroaig 25 was bottled in 2015 and is a real treat for enthusiasts; but then again, that's no surprise when it comes to Laphroaig, the historic distillery located on the south coast of the famous island of Islay and the only one to boast the title of Royal Warrant.

Laphroaig 25 Year Cask Strength

Laphroaig 25 Year Old Cask Strength displays an antique golden yellow color with copper highlights. On the nose, it offers sweet spicy aromas of vanilla, peanut butter, and barley caramel, then shifting toward notes of medicinal herbs, peat, and seaweed. The characteristic marine undertones are ever-present in the background. Powerful on the palate, very structured and full-bodied, well-balanced between the spices and the smokiness, it is incredibly delicious with hints of candied citrus peel and very persistent with its woody notes.
