Amara is a Sicilian bitter, born from the idea of two friends from Catania, one a management engineer and the other an agricultural entrepreneur, who had always wanted to produce a liqueur that could enhance the soul of the quintessential Sicilian fruit. The essences used for Amara are those obtained from two varieties of blood oranges: Tarocco Gallo and Tarocco Nocellara, which contribute to the creation of a pleasant, modern bitter, in line with current trends yet easily recognizable, strongly linked to the territory that produces the raw material from which it is born.
Amaro "Amara" Rossa presents a clear amber color with coppery highlights. The nose reveals intense sensations of candied orange peel, spicy notes of cinnamon, star anise, and cloves, with darker hints of cinchona. Its distinctive, distinctive flavor is rich in bitterness, and it opens decisively, smoothly, and roundly, with numerous citrus and spicy overtones consistent with the aroma. The orange blossom lingers for a long time.
