The distillation process is artisanal, using the discontinuous steam method according to the ancient Nonino family tradition, and takes place in special and exclusive stills renovated by Benito Nonino. The distillation process occurs very slowly to allow the volatile compounds responsible for the aromas to evaporate properly and then condense, preserving the precious organoleptic characteristics of the selected grape varieties. The distillate is aged for eight years in Limousin and Nevers oak barriques and small ex-Sherry casks in the Nonino Distilleries' private cellars. Bottled without added coloring.
