Langhe DOC Chardonnay "Serbato" Batasiolo, on tasting it presents a clear and very bright straw yellow colour, on the nose it reveals the typical aromas of the varietal with fruity hints of tropical fruit, in particular pineapple and mango, intense citrus notes and aromatic herbaceous whiffs reminiscent of sage and thyme. Dry, pleasantly fresh, almost citrine on the palate, it is well accompanied by the right savory boost that frames a structured body with excellent balance.
Delicious for an aperitif, it pleasantly accompanies soups, first courses with vegetables but also shellfish. Try it with salami.
