Tommassi's Lugana Riserva DOC is the maximum expression of the native Turbiana vine. A wine which, over the years, has become an emblem of the territory of origin, the result of an extremely rigorous winemaking protocol, which involves refinement in French wooden barrels for 25% of the mass, while the remaining 75% refines in steel, both for 18 months.
Lugana DOC Riserva Le Fornaci Tommasi, when tasted, presents itself with a brilliant golden yellow color, on the nose it is characterized by the intense aromas of ripe yellow fruit, then citrus flowers and apricot jam, all wrapped in honey and vanilla. Important, generous tasting, rich in fruity flavors but with a marked mineral verve, it is extremely balanced and very pleasantly persistent.
Perfect for dishes based on lake fish, it is excellent with first courses with vegetable sauces but also with medium-aged cheeses. For meat lovers: rabbit roulade.
