Rum Matusalem Gran Reserva 23 years old, when tasted it has a bright amber color with light golden nuances, what strikes the nose is the hint of wood, then ripe fruit and the unmistakable toffee candy. The tasting focuses on hazelnut and toasted sensations, and then evolves into caramel notes, never cloying but always balanced by freshness. The finish is pungent and aromatic, decidedly sweet.
