The Extra Añejo 20 Years was created in 2000 to celebrate the 485th anniversary of the foundation of the city of Santiago, and is a rum aged for at least 20 years in white oak barrels, during which it develops characteristics such as to be able to define it as a rum of great class, capable of faithfully tracing all the features of his native land.

Rum Santiago De Cuba Extra Añejo 20 Years, on tasting it presents itself with an intense and deep dark brown color, with bronze reflections, on the nose it is attributable to caramel and sugar cane, then coffee beans and vanilla, all framed by complex wood notes. Fleshy tasting, very rich, powerful and coherent in its olfactory references, it shows a truly rare breadth of taste that insists on the complex roasting given by the long years of refinement.

To drink straight to be able to better appreciate its qualities and, why not... paired with a good Cuban cigar.
