This Rum "Jamaica Rum" 12 Years is made by the Appleton Estate distillery from strictly certified ingredients. It starts with a selection of the best sugar cane, to which natural yeasts and crystalline water from the limestone hills of the Cockpit Country are added. Once the molasses is obtained from the sugar cane, it is processed thanks to discontinuous stills. The Rum obtained at the end of the distillation process is then blended with other fine Rums from the Appleton Estate range, and the final cut rests for 12 years in oak barrels.
The “Jamaica Rum” 12 Years is a Rum that, upon visual examination, announces itself with a very bright iridescent color, between bronze and gold tones. The set of aromas that surround the nose tells deep and stratified notes, which move from sensations of ripe fruit to the peel of citrus fruits, also touching nuances of coffee. In the mouth it is full-bodied, ample and enveloping on the palate thanks to a sip characterized by a well-balanced sweet taste.
