Saint-Émilion AOC 1er Grand Cru Classé by Château Cheval Blanc is produced with an atypical blend for the denomination, 66% Cabernet Franc, because it seems that this variety of grapes gives its best on clay and sandy soils and that it gives, to the wine, particular and unique spicy and mineral olfactory notes. An incredibly fascinating and complex wine that remains in the memory of every taster who has tasted it, at least once in their life.

Chateau Cheval Blanc Saint Emilion

Château Cheval Blanc is one of the highlights of Château Cheval Blanc. It is a red wine from Saint-Emilion produced with the best Merlot, Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc grapes of the 2008 vintage and with an alcohol content of 14%.
When tasted, it comes with color dense ruby with purple tint. On the nose, ethereal subtle menthol intertwined with spring flowers, plums, black currants and cherries. On the palate it shows an admirable complexity. It analytically has many perfectly integrated tannins.
