Valpolicella Superiore DOC Monte Lodoletta Romano Dal Forno 2017 75 cl
Monte Lodoletta is a place of worship where Romano Dal Forno grows local grapes in one of the best-rated vineyards in Valpolicella. Power, aromatic complexity and harmony for a label that is now considered a masterpiece of elegance. From that same scenario in which the legendary Amarone was born and from the same grapes comes this Valpolicella Superiore whose grapes, since 2002, have been dried for about a month and a half to acquire body, character and harmony. The refinement takes place for the canonical 24 months in barriques and 36 months in the bottle: the road to happiness passes through here!
Valpolicella Superiore DOC Monte Lodoletta Romano Dal Forno
TASTING NOTES Valpolicella DOC From Forno Romano
The Valpolicella Doc wine from Dal Forno Romano in the glass has an intense ruby red color that is impenetrable to the eye. The olfactory bouquet is elegant, initially composed of hints of dark cherries and ripe red plums, then enriched by elegant hints of tar and graphite. Rich on the palate, driven by balanced acidity and bright tannins. Concentrated and long closure.
PAIRINGS Valpolicella DOC From Forno Romano
Valpolicella goes well with entire menus of land cuisine, as long as they are structured and tasty. Excellent with capon casserole.
