Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Biondi Santi 2018 75cl
Biondi Santi's Brunello di Montalcino DOCG is a red wine of immense finesse and balance, whose most important characteristic is perhaps represented by its incredible longevity: from 20 to 40 years. Already immense today, it is a red wine to uncork and pour a few hours before consumption, as Franco Biondi Santi has always advised.
Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Biondi Santi
Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Biondi Santi is a wine that symbolizes a territory, a region and perhaps an entire country, produced at the Greppo and continues, year after year, harvest after harvest, to represent an icon of winemaking tradition and perfection stylistic. Coming from the vineyards of the historic family estate that are between 15 and 30 years old, Brunello Di Montalcino is aged for 36 months strictly in large Slavonian oak barrels only. A red wine of immense finesse and balance, whose most important characteristic is perhaps represented by its incredible longevity: from 20 to 40 years. Already immense today, it is a red wine to uncork and pour a few hours before consumption, as Franco Biondi Santi has always advised.
TASTING NOTES Brunello di Montalcino DOCG 2011 Biondi Santi
- Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Biondi Santi wine of ruby red color with light garnet reflections, the nose expresses an olfactory profile of great finesse. Notes of violet, currant, sour cherry and dried rose blend with balsamic and vegetal tones. Aromas of tobacco and oriental spices then open to a very long and material taste, extraordinarily fresh, vibrant, supported by a punctual tannic texture and a slight acidity. Great closure, of infinite persistence.
