Veronese IGT La Poja Allegrini 2018 75cl
The red wine "La Poja" is the workhorse of the Allegrini winery, one of the most rooted and prestigious winemaking realities in Valpolicella, now famous all over the world. The origins of this exceptional wine date back to 1979, when Giovanni Allegrini decided to plant 2.65 hectares of Corvina Veronese alone on the top of the La Groia hill, thus establishing the Podere La Poja. He could not even imagine the extraordinary success of the wine that would be born of it.
Veronese IGT “La Poja” Allegrini
Allegrini's "La Poja" wine in the glass has a dark ruby red color, the nose expresses ample fruity notes embellished with hints of spices and officinal herbs. On the palate it is juicy, long, harmonious and rich. A balanced taste, even fresh, characterized by a tannic texture of great delicacy and a vibrant finish for persistence.
