Toscana Rosso IGT Tignanello 2020 75 cl
Tignanello is a Tuscan wine (Supertuscan), prized, refined and of great luxury. This Supertuscan tells the story of the territory and the capacity for innovation of the cellar masters of the Tignanello estate of the Marchesi Antinori. It was the first Sangiovese to be aged in barrique, the first modern red wine blended with non-traditional varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, and among the first red wines in Chianti not to use white grapes. The Tignanello of the Marchesi Antinori is a milestone. It is produced with a selection of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. After aging in barriques for approximately 12-14 months, the wine rests in the bottle for a further year of refinement.
Toscana Rosso IGT “Tignanello” Marchesi Antinori
Antino's "Tignanello" has an intense ruby red color with violet reflections. The nose is ripe, with notes of dark fruit and a fresh background in the finish; the plum pulp predominates together with hints of cherry, progressively and balanced towards notes of licorice and mint. The taste has promptness and availability, it is rich and harmonious. Excellent on the palate, thanks to the acidity and the structured softness of the tannins. The aftertaste is rich, savory and characterized by a sweet persistence. Tignanello best vintages
