The flagship is the Morellino "il Marteto", a pillar of the company's wine production, representing the first Morellino produced, in 1995; so called from the name of the place where the company is located, La Marta, this wine is born from the union of Sangiovese with Syrah and Alicante and gives a wonderful and coherent expression of its territory, especially if tasted the year following the harvest.

 

Morellino Di Scansano DOCG "Marteto" Bruni

Morellino Di Scansano DOCG "Marteto" Bruni, when tasted, presents an intense ruby red color with violet reflections, very bright. Olfactory profile centered on fruity notes of cherry and blueberry, floral hints of cyclamen and light spiciness of cinnamon and star anise. In the mouth it expresses all its character, with an evident caloric sensation enclosed in a round, savory and appropriately tannic body, in a complex of softness characterized by sweet spicy returns.

COMBINATIONS

Excellent with roast pork with spices or with mushroom-based first courses.
