Barbera d'Alba is a historic wine and grape variety of this land, the daily protagonist of the Piedmontese table, considered the house wine; produced within the Alba DOC, Barbera Della Marmora ages for 12 months in Slavonian oak barrels and subsequently in the bottle, resulting in a wine perfectly enjoyable on a daily basis and ready to drink in the current vintage but capable of hiding pleasant surprises for the next 3 years.

 

Barbera D'Alba DOC Della Marmora Cantine Sartirano-San Silvestro

Barbera d'Alba La Mormora, when tasted, has a ruby red color with bright purple reflections, on the nose it expresses young, fresh and fruity hints of grape juice, blackberry and blueberries, with notes of mint and undergrowth and mineral hints in the background. The taste is particularly enveloping, soft and persuasive, with a fresh and lively flavour, it can be drunk extremely easily.

COMBINATIONS

It accompanies the entire meal perfectly, it is excellent with agnolotti with butter.
