The Mesa winery, built according to the most innovative production standards, uses the natural fall method, according to which no pumps are used but the force of gravity is exploited to accompany the wine in its processing phases, from the destemming of the bunch to the vinification of the must. Only local vines for the wines produced by Sanna and Buio, from pure Carignano grapes, are a beautiful interpretation, revisited in a modern key, of this great Sardinian native.
Carignano del Sulcis "Buio" Mesa, when tasted, has a ruby red color, has a tantalizing aroma of red currants, chilli pepper, lavender flowers, Mediterranean scrub and cardamom. Satisfying tasting, it reveals a perfect gustatory balance thanks to the flavor-tannin combination.
Perfect companion for first courses with meat sauce, medium-aged cheeses and grilled meat but will also go well with tasty and complex fish dishes such as soup or stewed eel
