Etna Rosso Lava Duke of Salaparuta

The Etna Rosso "Lavico" of the Duca di Salaparuta winery, at the tasting shows a pale garnet red color. The red Nerello Mascalese “Lavico” by Duca di Salaparuta is the classic wine of Etna with delicate and subtle aromas. It has a strong character and a pleasantly edgy personality, typical of the best reds produced on the great volcano. In the glass it has a ruby red color with light garnet reflections. The olfactory profile opens on floral aromas, spicy notes, aromas of small red berried fruits and light smoky sensations. On the palate it is of medium structure, with a deep sip, a well-sculpted tannic texture and a fresh and mineral finish.

PAIRINGS

This red wine is perfect to accompany red meat dishes and aged cheeses. Served chilled (15°C) it goes well with savory fish-based dishes.
