Veneto Rosso IGT "Vescovo Moro" Cà dei Conti
The Veneto Rosso IGT "Vescovo Moro" Cà dei Conti is a blend of wines, between the Roara aged one year and wine made from fresh grapes.
It was born at the foot of Monte Precastio, in the municipality of Tregnago. It covers an area of 5 hectares and is located on a hill with an altitude ranging from 400 to 450 m / slm and enjoys full southern exposure. The soil of morainic origin is calcareous and rich in skeleton, characteristics that give the wine excellent structure and richness in alcohol.
Ages 12 months partly in second passage French barriques and partly in tanks followed by a further 6 months in bottle.
TASTING NOTES
The Veneto Rosso IGT "Vescovo Moro" Cà dei Conti, when tasted, shows a purplish ruby red color. Typical aromas of cherry, wild strawberry and spicy notes stand out on the nose. Full-bodied and persistent in the mouth.
PAIRINGS
Grilled red meats, roast beef, sliced beef or foal, roasted savory sauces, game. Great hard and well seasoned cheeses, slightly spicy. Also excellent as an aperitif and meditation wine.
